Clan Hay Gathering 2026 – (Full Program)

We have a very special gathering planned for everyone this year, starting with a 'Burns Night Dinner' including the address to the Haggis by our own clan Chief, the Earl of Erroll.

Friday 31st July:

6.30PM - Burns Night Dinner

Menu:
Cock a leekie soup
Followed by - Haggis neeps and tatties
Main: Full roast dinner
Desert: Cranachan 
Please advise of food allergies.
 
Address to the Haggis by the Chief, plus all speeches expected on a Burns Dinner by other members of the clan.

Venue - Albert Hall, Station Square, Ballater.

Price - £45.00 per person

Saturday 1st August:

All day: The Aboyne Highland Games, where we will have our own meeting tent in the 'Village of the Clans'. You can pay on the day for entrance to the games, or pre-book at https://aboynegames.com/visitor-information/tickets

Saturdy 1st August

6.00pm - Prosecco Picnic - includes Prosecco. sandwiches and strawberries.

Venue - Burn o’ Vat, Dinnet

Price - £10.00 per adult. £5.00 per child.

Sunday 2nd August:

You are warmly invited to out traditional event of lunch at Delgatie Castle. This is priced at a very reasonable £29.00 per head. 
It is suggested we arrive at 11.30am for a 12.30pm lunch. This gives time to look around the historic rooms in the castle and to see the painted ceilings and other things of interest. 

After lunch, we continue our tradition of visiting Old Slains Castle, where Merlin might be prevailed upon to recount stories of his childhood there.

From there, we move on to New Slains Castle for a Highland Tea - There are many stories that Merlin and Alan will be able to tell you of this place! Again, we need to know numbers for catering for this, so (you've probably guessed already) please use the booking form below.
