Over the last weekend in November and the first in December, Clan Hay centre Delgatie Castle will play host to a very special experience. During both weekends, the castle will be decorated on a Victorian Christmas theme, with the staff dressed in Victorian costumes.
This will be a series of wonderful days out for the whole family. Every child who visits Santa's grotto will receive a Christmas present (included in the price) and mulled wine will be served at the front door. And of course, the castle's award winning tea room will be open for lunches and teas, which will include Joan Johnson's fantastic home baked cakes.
For those focused on Christmas shopping, there will be numerous local craft stalls providing a wide range of locally produced quality Christmas gift ideas. And to ensure the children don't get bored while you investigate the shopping oppotunity, at every hour between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm, a Christmas story will be told.
Saturday and Sunday 24th and 25th November and 1st and 2nd December. Cost only £4.00 per person. All proceeds of these events will go to the Delgatie Castle Estate restoration fund.
